— Friday’s wedding photography blog: A little bit of poetry…

“We are for each other: then

laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life’s not a paragraph”

(EE  Cummings)

There are many things that influence my style as a wedding photographer.

The beautiful Lake district landscape on my doorstep…the music that pops up on my Spotify discover weekly…my friends and my kids…holidays to new places..films and fine art…other photographers…

I love the poetry of Cummings – it inspires me and I also think poetry and photography can work so well together..

Here are a few frames from Ash and Debra’s lake district wedding held at the impressive Lowther Castle.

I have had some fun picking out just a few that I feel work together and also the lyrics of Cummings…

You can see the full highlights from this gorgeous day over on my featured wedding page.

I’d love you to take a look and please do leave me a comment – it’s always nice (and useful)  to get feed back.

Thanks.

Russell

Ps.I am starting to get lot’s of bookings in for next year….please don’t delay in getting in touch if you would like to talk about your wedding day plans.
