Graduating with an Honours Degree in photography from Blackpool and Fylde College in 1997, Russell was also presented with the Tom Gower Award from the British Institute of Professional Photography for a portfolio of work focussing on children and young people. Since then, he has worked with countless families and children of all ages on both private and commercial commissions. His passion for photography and it’s power to transform lives will guarantee the pictures he makes capture that evanescent element that reveals the subject, as well as the moment.
