Friday’s featured photograph. Beautiful Chloe in black and white.
As a professional wedding photographer based in the lake district I am used to changing plans to accommodate the weather!
I have photographed weddings in July when it has poured all day long and day’s in March that have been full of early spring sunshine.
Couples will experience every season on their special day BUT I haven’t photographed a wedding where it really mattered!
Of course we all hope that the weather god’s will be kind to us but from my many year’s of experience shooting weddings all newly weds shine regardless of the weather!
Some year’s ago I was very honoured to be asked to capture Chloe and Craig’s Lake district wedding in the month of May.
It poured down with rain but that did’t stop either of them from grinning all day.
And it didn’t stop all the wedding guests from having a wonderful time celebrating with the newly weds!
On the day I had arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to capture some details and bridal prep while my great mate Steven Barber met with the groomsmen.
I found that I had a bit of time to make some bridal portraits by the patio doors before Chloe and her maids left for the church.
Me outside of course, dodging the storm.
Still, the light was diffused and soft and just perfect for monochrome.
This shot was taken moments before I left to go to the church after we had finished and Chloe is waving me goodbye, ” See you at the church!”
It’s a lovely memory from wonderful wedding and makes me smile!
I love the elegance and beauty of both the bride and the photograph.
Please leave me a comment, it would be lovely to hear from you.
